I'm not sure, but I was thinking that my CAPD gets worse if my allergies are flairing up. Or pressure fronts?
All I know that is today, I couldn't follow one technical conversation. (I work in IT.) I tried to take notes and fake it. I heard all the words. The sentences made sense, but trying to get my brain to process the information didn't work. It was like it came in and bounced out.
I can't find my earphones at the office, so I may have to buy more....darn it.

Re: What affects you?
Wed, September 28, 2005 - 9:33 PMI have days like that. I have been diagnossed with Attention Defecit Disorder so I always assume that is why I experience what you are sharing. It's strange to think it has to do with ears even though you heard them. I don't know how I would be able to distinguish that for myself.
I think it is true that colds or pressure in your sinus cavaties does affect your hearing and processing. Being tired (which allergies can do) would also have an affect on the energy it takes to process.
Days like that are so hard and make me self conscious. I don't want to have to explain myself to everyone I think may notice I am not responding correctly.
